With the GB15TR, George Benson's updated Ibanez signature model sports a single humbucker with coil tapping capabilities, 21 medium frets, spruce top, and maple back and sides. The GB15TR has one volume, one tone, and chrome hardware. The body is a smaller sized, single cutaway design that is more comfortable to play while offering the thick jazz tones you would expect from a larger body. The thicker spruce top in conjunction with the smaller body serves to reject feedback. Both guitars have an ebony bridge, providing plenty of presence and a bright, jazzy tone.
